Homeopathy is a system of medicine which involves treating an individual with minute doses of substances obtained from plants, minerals, and vegetables.  These substances are prepared according to standards set by the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United states.  They work according to the principles that "like cures like".  Homeopathy medicines are designed to stimulate the body's own defense and immune processes.
