PLGutHealth is a snapshot of your gut microbiome that provides valuable insight into several health factors. These health factors include overall gut score, alpha diversity (both in richness and evenness of bacteria), dysbiosis score, taxa information and various functional health scores such as Heart Health, Gut Barrier Health, etc. PLGutHealth collection kit will be shipped to you when your order is placed. The kit will include detailed registration and collection instructions, fecal collection vial and a bag for prepaid return shipping to our CLIA and CAP certified lab partner. Our lab partner analyzes a small sample and provides the information to convert taxonomic signatures (16S) and gene lists (WGS) into microbiome-wide quantitative functional capabilities (phenotypes). A quantitative measure of each phenotype in a microbiome sample is computed on a scale from 0 to 100%.
